F44(S31254) 254 SMO Nut
254 SMO studs is a metal rod or bar with threads on both sides. It also known as double-headed screws or studs, used to connect two parts together. General for mining machinery, bridges, cars, motorcycles, boiler steel structure, hanging tower, large span steel structure and large buildings. 

We tend to use studs when the parts need to remove frequently, because the thread will be worn if install and remove often, then we need to change the studs.
254 SMO is a high performance austenitic stainless steel. Its high alloying elements content imparts excellent resistance to uniform, pitting and crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It was originally developed to withstand the corrosion of acids, especially in the presence of halide ions, such as hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and sulphuric acid contaminated with chlorides. In certain environments it is an alternative to more expensive nickel alloys and titanium alloys.
Applications:
The 254SMO alloy is a versatile material that can be used in many industrial applications: 1. Oil, petrochemical equipment, such as petrochemical equipment in the bellows.
2. Pulp, paper bleaching equipment, such as pulp digester, bleach equipment, filter scrubber with the barrel and pressure roller and so on.
3. Power plant flue gas desulfurization device, the main use of the site are: absorption tower of the tower, flue, stall door, pieces, sprinkler systems.
4. Offshore systems or seawater treatment, such as thin-walled condensate pipes, seawater desalination plants, which are cooled in seawater, can be used even in equipment where seawater may not flow.
5. Desalination industry, such as salt or desalination equipment.
6. Heat exchangers, especially in heat exchangers with chloride ion working conditions.
